CM-Equity and Quantum Business Network (QBN) today announce the creation of a new high-tech venture capital fund to invest in start-ups and scale-ups primarily in Europe. Black Quant Fund will use the €100 million for Series A pre-seed and subsequent investments to accelerate technology advancements and commercialization.

The European Commission and national governments, primarily Germany and France, are increasing their investments to catch up in the global race to the United States and China. Black Quant Fund bridges the gap in the European investment space to enable brilliant European researchers and entrepreneurs to forego private capital from the US or Asia and empowers them to become global leaders.
