Sinead Kavanagh and Leah McCourt staged the biggest all-Irish fight in history at the Bellator 275 in Dublin

Inchicore fighter Sinead Kavanagh will look to bounce back from her world title loss to Cris Cyborg as she takes on Leah McCourt in an all-Irish showdown at Bellator 275 on February 25.

The featherweight clash is set to be one of the biggest all-Irish fights in MMA history on the undercard of the Gegard Mousasi world middleweight title fight against Austin Vanderford.

Kavanagh (7-5) was hit in the first round from his fight with arguably the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in MMA at Bellator 271 in November.

The fight lasted just 90 seconds as the Brazilian showed her class to retain her lightweight crown, but Kavanagh wasted no time getting back to the ring against the Belfast grappler.

McCourt (6-1).

‘KO’ Kavanagh is a more experienced fighter, but she will have her hands full with the 29-year-old on a six-game winning streak and push to secure her own Cyborg title tilt.

There is very little to separate the pair in the standings, with the 35-year-old former amateur boxing champion Kavanagh 11 and McCourt ten in the lightweight standings.

Dublin lightweight Peter ‘The Showstopper’ Queally (13-6-1) returns to action in the main co-event following his loss to Patricky Pitbull at the Bellator 270 as he faces Englishman Kane Mousah (13 -4).

Brian Moore (14-8), trained at SBG Dublin in Wexford, will face American Jornel Lugo (7-0), number nine and undefeated, on the undercard.

Undefeated Roscommon fighter Danni McCormack (5-0) will look to build on her November victory over Audrey Kerouche when she takes on French striker Stephanie Page (5-3) in a strawweight fight.

Drogheda featherweight Ciaran Clarke (4-0) will defend his invincibility when he faces Bellator debutant in France Abou Tounkara (7-2).

English middleweight Fabian Edwards (9-2) faces Bulgarian Marian Dimitrov (10-2), while Welshman Brett Johns (17-3) against Khurshed Kakhorov (8-0) undefeated in the bantamweight division.

The pre-card will also feature Italian welterweight Stefano Paterno (13-4) and Romanian Luca Poclit (6-1), who will make his Bellator debut.
