The French Ministry of the Armed Forces entrusts the maintenance of its Fennec helicopters to Sabena technics
Through this eleven-year contract, Sabena technics will provide all support for the maintenance in operational condition (MCO) of the fleet of Fennec helicopters operated by the French Air Force and the Flight Test division of the DGA.
The French MRO will perform maintenance operations from its own site based at Marseille-Provence airport but will also perform directly from Orange-Caritat air base 115.
On a fleet of 40 helicopters belonging to the French Air Force and three to the DGA’s flight testing division, Sabena technics will carry out:
- Complete supply chain management;
- Technical assistance and support services;
- Periodic and major maintenance checks;
- Continuing airworthiness management tasks.
Sabena technics teams from Orange-Caritat air base 115 will fully support five of the Air Force helicopters. Fully outsourced support until final implementation, directly for the benefit of the Helicopter Training Center.
