Traveler site set up near Great Western Park in Didcot
A VISITING traveler site has been spotted setting up near a new housing estate in Didcot.
People spotted the camp being set up at the bottom of Taylor Wimpey’s Great Western Park development near the A4130 roundabout.
Taylor Wimpey’s developers have been made aware of the site’s existence as well as Oxfordshire Country Council and Thames Valley Police.

Councilor Sally Povolotsky, a Liberal Democrat member who represents Hendreds and Harwell on the country council, said: ‘County council, police and Taylor Wimpey have all been notified.
“I went through the site yesterday. However, it is important to note that Great Wester Park has yet to be adopted by council.
“So it’s up to Taylor Wimpey to issue eviction orders. Our travel team has also been notified.
